In this discipline, two athletes compete on a standard 15-meter wall, with the sole goal of touching the button at the top in the shortest time possible . Today we introduce you to Luca Robbiati and Andrea Bortolotto , two young Italian sprinters who are making their mark on the speed climbing scene.

Both athletes grew up in the world of climbing, developing their passion through competitions and intensive training.
⚡ What is Speed Climbing?
If lead and bouldering reward endurance and problem solving, speed climbing is a challenge of pure speed and coordination. The competition wall is always the same, all over the world: 15 meters high, standardized holds and footholds and a single goal – to climb in the shortest possible time .

- Men: 4.79 seconds (Samuel Watson, 2023)
- Women: 6.24 seconds (Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi, 2023)
In this discipline, the difference between victory and defeat is played on hundredths of a second. The start is explosive, every movement is calculated and error is not an option.

Andrea and Luca have collected numerous podiums in national and international competitions, always pushing their limits higher. Luca has represented Italy in several international competitions, while Andrea proudly remembers his first podiums in official races, goals that have given him the energy to improve every day.
