Frasassi Climbing Festival 2024: Everything you need to know

The Frasassi Climbing Festival is back! From August 29th to September 1st 2024, the unmissable event for outdoor enthusiasts will be held in the heart of the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Regional Natural Park. Get ready for four days of adventure, competition and discovery, surrounded by the extraordinary natural beauty of the Marche region. Here's everything you need to know so you don't miss a thing.

Thursday 29th August

• 09:00 - Start of the Frasassi Challenge (until Sunday 1st September at 13:00)
• 09:00 - Opening of Exhibitor Stands with new products 2024-2025

• 15:00 - Workshop with friends of Slackline Bologna

The Festival: A Journey Between Nature and Adventure

Since 2015, the Frasassi Climbing Festival has become an unmissable event for outdoor enthusiasts, celebrating the perfect symbiosis between tourism and nature. This event has transformed the cliffs, walls and paths of the Marche region into a lively stage, attracting participants from all over the world.

The festival is not only an opportunity to practice sports, but also to promote sustainability and respect for the environment. Over the years, it has contributed to the rewriting of the regulations of the Regional Natural Park of Gola della Rossa and Frasassi, improving the climbing routes and protection systems.

Projects and Successes

Thanks to the support of volunteers and sponsors, the festival has carried out numerous projects, including:

• Renovation of historic cliffs: "Il Tempio", "Falcioni", "Pontechiaradovo", and "Chez Maxime".
• Creation of new cliffs: "Sulfuria", "The River", "L'AltroMondo", and "Dark Side".
• Boulder Area Discovery and Cleanup: "The Moon".
• Renovation and reopening of trails: "140-140a", "Valle dell'abbondanza" and the eastern crest of Murano.

Our Absence, But Always Present

This year, Rupe will not be present with its own stand due to the move to the new headquarters. However, we will participate with some team members and with prizes for the raffles and goody bags.
